Welcome, and thank you for visiting St. Gregorious Malankara Orthodox Church online. The Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, also known as the Indian Orthodox Church, is an autocephalous Oriental Orthodox church centered in the Indian state of Kerala. It is one of the churches of India's Saint Thomas Christian community, which has origins in the evangelical activity of Thomas the Apostle in the 1st century. Diocese of the Indian (Malankara) Orthodox Church, UK Europe, and Africa is acting as the umbrella organization for various Indian Orthodox parishes in the UK, Europe, and African Continent. The St. Gregorious Orthodox Church Switzerland is a parish church under the UK Europe and Africa diocese.
